Mahindra Satyam is currently trading at Rs 98.50, up by 0.45 points or 0.46% from its previous closing of Rs 98.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 98.70 and has touched a high and a low of Rs 99.20 and Rs 97.30 respectively. So far 761000 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 128.35 on September 1, 2009 and a 52 week low of Rs 34.00 on March 9, 2009.
Promoters holding in the company as per December quarter stood at 42.68%, FII and DII held 8.62% and 4.99% respectively while others were holding 43.71%.
Mahindra Satyam, a leading global consulting and IT services provider, has won two multi-million dollar contracts to be executed by its subsidiary – Satyam Servico De Informatica — based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Through this subsidiary the company plans to increase its business footprint in the Latin American market and open opportunities for alliances in the local business arena.
Mahindra Satyam has won two multi-million dollar contracts; one from a global conglomerate and the other from a leading player in the logistics sector for their Latin American operations, which will be serviced by Satyam Servico De Informatica.
The company will deploy technology in the Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) space, which will power the supply chain operations of these two organisations.
In keeping with the market dynamics, Satyam Servico De Informatica has decided to increase its headcount to over 100 associates over the span of the next six months.
The company has recently received Run SAP provider certificate from SAP AG. Following this certification the IT major belonging to $6.3 billion Mahindra Group has become a certified provider of solution implementation based on the Run SAP methodology.
The company is among the first SAP partners to be certified in the Run SAP methodology in both India and the US and it plans to incorporate the methodology into its implementation standards.
Run SAP is a phased methodology based on world-class knowledge. It provides best-practice procedures, content, services, training and tools for end-to-end solution operations, along with a standardized and proven implementation method.
