Gujarat Borosil temporarily suspends production of sheet glass
Gujarat Borosil (GBL) has temporarily discontinued production of sheet glass since furnace producing sheet glass at Village – Govali, District – Bharuch, has completed its useful life.
The company, however, continues to manufacture and market its new product i.e. low iron solar patterned glass which was commenced from March 16, 2010 at Company’s new unit at Village-Govali, Taluka Jhagadia, District-Bharuch, Gujarat.
Further, the company in due course plans to enter manufacture of Float Glass, reflective glass and other end products.
GBL manufactures finest quality sheet glass in the country and is the largest exporter in this segment.
